Guerciotti is an Italian bicycle company which has earned an incredible reputation for their advanced technology and dedication to professional quality bikes.
History of Guerciotti
In 1964, the Guerciotti brothers, Italo and Paulo decided to open a tiny bike repairs shop in Milan. Since then the name has grown phenomenally into a world wide brand.
The size of the company grew naturally between 1964 and 1974. In 1975 the brand took a big step forward, and the brothers began distributing their bikes and frames worldwide.
Growth of the company rocketed in 1976 when Guerciotti sponsored professional teams Fiorella Mocassini, Fiorelli Citroen, Magniflex Fam Cucine, Santini Selle Italia, Alfa Lum, and Dromedary Sidermec. Guerciotti also gained dominance in the Belgium market thanks to the success of two of the strongest riders in cyclocross history: Roland Liboton and Vito Ditano.
In 1977 Paoplo Guerciotti founded his own cyclocross team; GS Guerciotti. The team went on to win 10 World Championships. Due to the incredible success of the team, Guerciotti became the leading brand in cyclocross, also gaining commercial success for the brand.
